The Annual 25 Things I Would Rather Watch Today than the SuperBowl – 2024 Edition

Hello sports fans and friends! Welcome back to my almost annual list of what I would rather watch today than the SuperBowl. The one post a year that some people actually look forward to. This is the 12th edition of the post. I’ve missed a couple years but really haven’t we all? Also, let’s be honest here – I know exactly what I’m watching. I’ll be watching whatever my kid wants to see which today is probably the new Mr. Beast video, Pokemon XY, and Steven Universe. Then back to YouTube when the Deadpool 3 trailer goes up. 

However, for purposes of this article, YouTube doesn’t count, because I’ve made up self imposed rules for this. These are 25 things that will be on TV tonight that I would prefer watching instead of sports. Any show or movie I pick has to be on TV from 630-10 which is the currently scheduled time for the SuperBowl. Any selection cannot start before 630 or end after 10. Marathons only count as one selection, however the same show on different channels counts as two different choices. Streaming or pay channels are not allowed. So no Netflix and no HBO. No local channels, so if the local FOX is playing something that doesn’t count, but the national FOX feed does. Finally, this has to be something I’m actually interested in. I can’t suddenly pretend to have an interest in true crime shows. 

With the rules out of the way, let’s get to the list!
