There’s a theory forming that these three movies are technically about the same man and the same dog. The idea is that all three movies form a trilogy. Details still need to be filled in (you know, names, and how and why) but its a hell of an idea. Hoping to see this grow in the future.

Interesting. If nothing else, it is certain Tim Burton put a lot of himself into the male characters above, and I am pretty sure I read somewhere that his original Frankenweenie short was inspired by his own dog from his youth. It then stands to reason that all the dogs above were in some fashion inspired by Burton’s childhood pet.
