This has been my toughest League post to date. Inspiration just would not come to me! Lets see what Brian of Cool and Collected posted that then ruined my entire week:
In the spirit of Young Indiana Jones, Young Frankenstein, or Young Einstein, come up with a “Young ___” prequel or series.
So many of my fellow Leaguers absolutely rocked this week. Links will be down below but this week was one of the best I’ve ever seen. While reading many of the posts I also saw that other icon on the pages. Yup, member of the League, lots of us are members of the Dork Horde as well. But what was that other button?
Countdown to Halloween you say? Great, even more pressure. How can I write a League post, and try to write all the other stuff for the site, and get married (obligatory reference at this point, much like the Greg Proops Smartest Man in the World podcast and Satchel Paige) and then come up with 31 brilliant original posts?! Oh yeah and there is a job and some hours in there too. This is nigh impossible!
Or is it? I was thinking of writing up a young WWE idea. But wrestling is visual, so maybe I would draw my concepts for a young Hulk Hogan, CM Punk and John Cena. Then I see the stacks of DVDs featuring public domain horror movies. Eventually I should sit down and watch all of these. But that’s two hours for a movie and at least an hour to then write it up. However, drawing can be fun and relaxing. If only I could combine these two….
May I present you with the Lil’ Monsters! I came up with a few silly ideas and I will now present the first two to you within the weekly League post. If all goes well, and people enjoy these, I’ll do a sketch daily for the entire month of October.

To begin, we have a sad scene with two of cinema’s largest and greatest monsters. Here I imagine Godzilla and Gamera as childhood pals. Godzilla’s childhood dies on the day that the Daiei family moved out of town and he lost his best friend Gamera. Yes, Gamera. The original mutated turtle. Take that other bloggers!

Next up is little Jason. Jason just left his first convention and he is holding in his grubby little hands an autograph from his favorite actor. There is a horrible pun in here. Enjoy.
That’s all for today (and tomorrow). Lets see if I can keep this up 29 more times! October! Woo Hoo! Party! Halloween!
What did the rest of the League bring you this week?
