How does a man fall so far within WWE? Drew McIntyre was the hand picked Chosen One. Chosen by none other than Vincent Kennedy McMahon. But you wouldn’t know it by looking at Drew’s current position within WWE.
Look at the accomplishments the Scotsman had in his short career in WWE. Drew won the Florida Championship Wrestling heavyweight title and the organization’s tag team title. After joining the WWE’s main roster he went on an undefeated streak. Not only does Mr McMahon choose him, but then he gets the biggest undefeated streak storyline since Goldberg. This streak lasted until Drew faced the Undertaker. Not a shameful loss by any means. McIntyre went on to win the WWE Intercontinental title and the WWE tag team championships. That’s two pieces of the Triple Crown in just over one year. On pay per views alone Drew has defeated Evan Bourne, Mark Henry, Kane, John Morrison, Matt Hardy, R-Truth, and MVP. There should be no limit to what a man with a push like that could achieve.
However, since the 2011 WWE Draft the better question is “Drew who?” I thought Drew was still on Smackdown, especially after Booker T named Drew as one of his “Fav 5″. Turns out Drew is on Raw. Not that you would know it from all of Drew’s appearances on the flagship show. Now Drew is forced into the WWE limbo that is dot com. McIntyre is now only featured on WWE Superstars. A show that’s not quite a kiss of death, but it is definitely a last chance. If you don’t get over on Superstars (I’m looking at you Tyson Kidd), you may as well start booking some indy dates. But it cant be all bad for Drew McIntyre right? He must be in the middle of a new winning streak at this point. He’s going to dominate Superstars and then make a triumphant return to Raw, complete with a huge main event level push.

Because this week he was pinned by Zack Ryder on Superstars.
Zack Fucking Ryder! The Woo Woo Woo Kid himself. I say this as a fan of Zack Ryder, but Zack should not be pinning a man that everyone thought was about to become world champion less than a year ago. Either build up Ryder more before such a pin takes place, or bury Drew on… Oh I see.

I also had no idea he was Scotish… but maybe that’s because I don’t see him anymore or maybe even ever.
Best I can tell is he had some problems with his wife Tiffany. Then his push got pulled. Kind of like how Rhyno had some altercation with his wife and they just let him go. But I guess with Drew… he’s at the low end of the card now. In fact the Drew you knew is dead.
That old Drew might as well have been named Scotty Staple.
I think the WWE always likes to fuck with workers that are dating (except HHH & Stef). They always split them on different shows and so on. Maybe that’s so it doesn’t cause drama backstage.
A lot of winning streaks and holding the title for X amount of months are more … the WWE forgot about them.
I’m thinking its the push him then drag him down and see how he handles success idea. They pushed Sheamus, buried him, and now he’s back on top. I’ve seen dirt sheet reports of this kind of activity before. Not saying its the case here, just that I would not be surprised.
The MVP push? The RVD push? The Miz push? I still think its the Tiffany thing, or maybe Drew was… the guy back in 2007 because they didn’t have anyone else.
