Transformers Dark of the Moon

Elise and I skipped this movie.  The first was alright and brainless fun.  The second was fucking atrocious.  There was no love or curiosity left to try the third one.  Well, at least not for theater prices.  We may give it a shot now that its on home video.  Oh, we’re still not spending cash.  Hopefully one of you reading this will have nothing better to do than send us a free copy.  Click the CONTACT page for details!

Monkees Seasons 1 and 2

I should be too young to know of the Monkees.  But thanks to the early days of VH1 and Nick at Nite I’m more than familiar with this too good to really call them a parody band.  Great songs, fun little plots and family friendly too!  Sure its goofy as hell and no you’re not going to discover the meaning of life while watching this.  But its so much fun!  Just sit back, enjoy one episode, and let the stress of the work day disappear.

 

The Cleveland Show Season 2

Definitely an adult cartoon, but somehow the lightest tone out of the Seth McFarlane empire.  By now you already know if you love or hate the show.  I think the jokes are great, there’s always something that makes me have to pause the show because I’m laughing so hard.  Plus, even with a talking bear, the show isn’t as over the top as its animated brethren.

I don’t care how cheesy and stupid these movies are.  You show me a new release featuring my favorite rocket powered giant turtle and I’ll show you a stack of money.

Gavin and Stacey – Complete Collection

If you watched Doctor Who last week and loved the chubby companion (Craig) then you’ll love him even more on this series.  A story of the ups and downs in dating as only 20/30 something Brits can do.  A great show that’s too smart for most American audiences, but that doesn’t include you now does it?

Female MMA Revolution

No Gina Carano.  Which means 99% of fans who claim to love women’s MMA will not be buying this.

 

Maria’s B-Movie Mayhem: Choose between Mardi Gras Massacre, Scream (not that one), or Barn of the Naked Dead

More low budget horror films hosted by former WWE Diva, Maria!  There is nothing smart about any of this, but its good dumb gorey fun.

 

Godfather of Gore: The Herschell Gordon Lewis Documentary

Speaking of gorey fun, watch this to find out where all that gore originated.  Fucked up before fucked up was cool, this documentary is a must watch for any fan of the bloodiest of genres.
