I live in a part of New York that is getting absolutely covered in snow. I saw at least 10 cars off the road on my way home from work. I came home and used my new (what a great gift) snow blower for the first time. Definitely a learning process, but my driveway was clear. Clear enough. All I wanted to do is pick up my son and get the car in the garage. And that is what I accomplished. There’s no getting through any other path right now. He doesn’t have school tomorrow but so far I still have work. Snow blower round 2 will have to happen in the morning.

All of this is causing me to fall asleep as I type. This year of creation will have days during which I have to be a responsible adult. Hopefully I can always squeeze in a couple moments to write. Even a little life update like this is writing practice.

Be safe out there. My area is under a snow warning until Sunday. Getting snowed in is not a good situation for one such as myself who is trying to not waste time online.
