Hey, its a new golden era of cereal.  During a recent trip to the grocery store I saw Avengers, Frozen, Minions and the spotlight today, Star Wars cereal.

The best part of the cereal is the box.  These are some really pretty boxes.  One with Yoda and one with Darth Vader.  Unfortunately the only difference is the boxes.  No flavor difference at all.  Not in taste or marshmallow shape or anything else.  Which is disappointing.  Jedi and Sith pieces.  Or chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, peanut butter.  Hell even change the boring pieces to corn or rice or wheat.

The cereal itself is pretty good though.

Nice corn pieces.  Like a soft Cap’n Crunch.  Or Mr T cereal for those of you old enough to remember.  The marshmallows are just shy of Lucky Charms quality.  Still better than 99% of the cereal marshmallows out there but not perfect.

While I was half joking about some flavor variety above I do feel the cereal would benefit from some extra taste.  The corn and marshmallow bit has been done and after the initial purchase there’s really no reason to buy the cereal again.

Unless they start coming with toys.  Oh please give me some The Force Awakens toys free inside by Christmas.
