As anyone who is still waiting for a Don Quixote movie knows, pre production is a bitch.  There’s the money, and the cast, and building sets, then people leave.  Its a wonder anything gets made really.  No one is immune to this process, not even Cobra Commander.

First, way back in 1984, Cobra has to go to war with the Church of Scientology and bring down John Travolta.  Jumping on the shark known as Staying Alive, Cobra began to tear down John Travolta.  His movies flopped, when he was cast.  His albums failed to chart.  Travolta was seeking any work.  The perfect time to pounce was at hand and Cobra struck the script for Look Who’s Talking under John’s nose.  All part of the plan.

Now with a hit movie based on a talking baby, the networks come calling.  This seems to be an easy plot for a sitcom.  Its already been done with a horse, why not a baby?  (Also, the only time that sentence is appropriate.)  Thus Cobra was able to convince ABC to air Baby Talk.

 

 

Yes, only by confusing the citizens of America through a talking baby can Cobra take advantage of that confusion and take over the world!  First, we’ll make families watch the show.  Then we’ll subtly put in subliminal messages into the baby’s dialogue and create an army of baby worshipers!

 

Should that not work Cobra will create even more confusion!  We’ll start with casting Connie Sellecca as the mom.  Then she will leave before an episode has aired, but she’ll be in all of the previews.  When episode one airs with Julia Duffy the country will already be up in arms.  By season two when we replace Duffy with Mary Page Keller there will be rioting in the streets.  By the time Cobra replaces George Clooney with Scott Baio the American television audience will be so desperate for answers they will swear allegiance to the only entity on Earth who has an explanation for them.  And that entity will be COBRA!!!
