Oh yeah, we’re going all the way back here. Back to Halloween time. For those who may not know, I was working in a costume shop all Halloween season and that started the unplanned holiday hiatus for the site. I still bought things, ate or drank them, and took pictures though.
With that said, lets check out Kool Aid’s Halloween themed beverage, Ghoul Aid.
Oh! Scary blackberry! It really wasn’t that scary. But it was tasty. Sort of the fake grape flavoring we’re all used to but with a touch of something else. I’m not quite sure what it was but it changed the flavor enough to make it not taste like grape at all. Which is good, because I’m not too big on grape.
I’ve been very disappointed over the years to see cereal boxes become more and more boring. No toys, few games. Its just a picture on the back and that’s about it. Not so with Kool Aid!
A word find AND a find the differences. This one box has more fun and games than the entire cereal aisle combined. Its the best part of the Sunday funnies with a tasty beverage inside.
Speaking of tasty beverages, I did some experimenting with this later on in the night.
Yes that is Kool Aid mixed with Mt Dew and it came out a lot better than I expected. Not that Kool Aid would ever endorse such a thing but if you want to throw in a little bit of vodka as well, you got yourself an evening!
Kool Aid Ghoul Aid has just shown up at many Big Lots stores if you’re interested in trying this yourself.

It also goes great with vodka!
