Hey everyone I’m a bit busy with baby stuff but I didn’t want to miss out on the League of Extraordinary Bloggers.  What’s the assignment this week?

Robots.

Well that’s open ended.  However, I have been thinking a lot about classic characters and re-imaginings.  My Little Pony and TMNT are big right now, despite it being the umpteenth version of both.  Then it was announced that there will be a Captain Planet movie.  My mind started to think of how Captain Planet could be redone for today.

Giant team up robot.

Here’s the idea:  the Planeteers all drive around a vehicle that corresponds to the old ring element thing.  Wind, water, earth, fire and heart.  Water is a fire truck.  Heart is an ambulance.  Wind is an airboat.  I’m still debating on some of these, but you get the idea.

Now I know what you’re thinking what does this have to do with robots?

That’s easy.  Our powers combine!  These five vehicles combine in times of danger to form the giant robot known as Captain Planet!

Beat that Pacific Rim!
