I’m starting to know the humor of the UnderScoopFire crew and saying that anything is “in the hole” will probably come back to haunt me. Anyways, way back in February USF asked for contributors to send in some romantic classifieds. I happen to have won the best of award, or so the fine folks leaving comments thought. Now lets take a look at the fun things that showed up in the mail!
That is one hell of a pile of goodies just for me being clever. Not that I’m complaining I love shit like this. The only thing I love more is sharing it with the world. So lets take a look at these toys in detail.
These grab bags are so much fun. Even if there are things you want more than others, or some toys you think you don’t want, the truth is once that bag is ripped open its nothing but treasure inside. Specifically, these treasures:
Black Widow is on a skateboard. I don’t have need for a toy skateboard (as coincidentally I already have one) but there’s always a need for Scarlett in any geek’s life. Red and blue Spider-Man is a mini flashlight (more on this in a little bit) and the symbiote is a pen. Venom has shit to remember! (I know, its not a Venom toy but just roll with the black suit jokes please ok?)
Look at the cute little Thing! Wow that could be taken out of context very quickly and with minimal effort. So at first I didn’t know this was a flashlight. I looked through it thinking it was a kaleidoscope Then I hit the button and this incredible light was blinding me. No prism images either. Still think the art on this is great though.
As a matching set with Spider-Man, here comes this Captain America pen! Go Team Hellions indeed. Well done Steve Rogers, glad to have you on board.

Jimmy JJ Walker has been cast in the next Fast and the Furious movie and it will be Nitro Mites! These things are a perfect desk toy. Light, colorful, strong plastic and just tons of fun. I wouldn’t mind racing them.
The most pain in the ass part of this was to get that ramp sticker just right. Lined up and no bubbles. Its not perfect, but its probably 95% there so I’m satisfied. There’s a ton of potential in these tiny bikes. Lots of customization options too. Oh I wonder if they have a Ghost Rider one.
Aw hell yeah! AT-AT some point I’ll have to show off all of the Star Wars toys. When Kenner started the new line of toys in, what was it 1997? Anyways, I bought all of them then tried to buy all the prequel stuff too. And now they sit. I have avoided Star Wars toys since because there’s just too much. I need to focus. Well a hell of a place to focus on is the original three movies and the childhood nostalgia.
I’m pretty sure I had the original version of this figure as a child. But this is an incredible update. The cloth, the gun, and of course the sculpt.
Damn he really looks like someone. I don’t have a clue who, but that beard and the icy stare remind me of someone. Leave comments for your own theories.
