I’m usually an advocate for Smackdown. As JBL likes to say, “Friday nights are for fighting!” But why did we have these matches? It’s like Vince said, “Meh, we have a PPV on Sunday, let’s just get some people on the show who everyone sees every other episode of! So, let’s just have some fun with it.

4. Antonio Cesaro vs. Sheamus

This was about the only match I could tolerate. I love Epico & Primo, Kidd & Gabriel, but those matches were a waste of time. This match was good. Maybe it was only because it was in comparison to the rest of the show, or it actually was good, but if you only watch one match for Smackdown, let it be this one. And then tell me if it was actually good or if it was just in comparison to the rest of the show.

3. Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn went against Aksana. So we had a three minute rest hold and then Kaitlyn did some stuff. LUCKILY Kaitlyn is excellent at “doing stuff” and looks good while doing it. So thank you, Kaitlyn.

2. Random Regal Appearance

Like on NXT, Regal comes out to the rescue at the end of the show, and wishes some luck to Sheamus for his match on Sunday. Yay Regal! (yeah, that’s all I have to say about it).

1. Ryback/HellNo/Shield Segment

Do you need more reason than these are the hottest guys in the WWE right now? Ryback is the future, HellNo is the most hilarious tag team ever and they have talent to back it up, and Shield as Ambrose. Okay, it has Rollins and Reigns, too, if you are a mark for them, but honestly these are THE guys right now. Shield might not last, HellNo might break up, and Ryback might get de-pushed for some random boredom from Vince one day, but as it is now, these are the guys. And every segment they are in, together or individually, is gold.
