Now onto my own predictions. Easy quick list will be at the bottom. Now on to the picks!
Diva’s #1 Contender Battle Royal
(No, I do not have confirmed names, predict at your own risk!)
AJ is out of this or else that would have been my guess. This may be easier to eliminate people and then see who is left with a fighting chance. So, first eliminate any women that don’t have a story going on and thus WWE would not be putting any faith nor money into. This eliminates Aksana, Rosa, Naomi and Cameron. The winner gets a shot at the Divas title, currently held by Eve. Eve’s a heel, thus we can eliminate any other heels. Tamina is out. I’m honestly not sure if Layla and Alicia are heels or faces right now. Wont be Layla anyways. I don’t care what color she dyes her hair. Natalya is busy with her strange romantic story line. This leaves Kaitlyn and Alicia. Kaitlyn had her chance. Alicia has had some great matches lately. She deserves to be rewarded for it.
Winner: Alicia.
Big Show vs. Sheamus
Sheamus is still being booked as if he is the champion. If rumors are true that Big Show and Ryback will face off at WrestleMania its time to get these two forces on a collision path. That path does not include the World title. Well, at least it doesn’t have to.
Winner: Sheamus regains the World title.
Kofi Kingston vs. Wade Barrett
Its been a long return for Wade. Kofi has never needed a title to get over, but he’s always a good talent to carry one for awhile. Wade however would greatly benefit from carrying around some gold. Its time to stuff the Wildcat.
Winner and new Intercontinental champion: Wade Barrett.
Dolph Ziggler vs. John Cena
John Cena does not need the title. This year has been exciting, and part of that has been keeping him away from the title. Dolph however needs to look strong and he needs to look like a future World champion. A win over Cena in such a dramatic match will finally land Dolph that spot in the upper echelon.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler.
Team HellNo & Ryback vs. The Shield
Its The Shield’s first match on WWE TV (well, besides NXT stuff but you knew that). If they lose it completely kills the angle and makes them look like they cant hang in WWE. It doesn’t matter if they cheat, or have to bring out more members, or have Punk and Paul interfere on their behalf. They must win. A loss will kill this hot angle that can still run strong for months.
Winner: The Shield.
Antonio Cesaro vs. R-Truth
Oh please. Who do you think I’m going to pick here? Antonio has been on fire lately and WWE would be foolish to have him lose right now. I feel he’s at a level of heel where the fans hate him because they know how good he is. Give him a long run. Its the US title. No one will mind.
Winner: Antonio Cesaro.
Team Rhodes Scholars vs. Sin Cara & Rey Mysterio
Ugh. Well, again the rumors are that Rey vs. Sin Cara will happen at WrestleMania. I’m going to throw my support behind the Rhodes Scholars and predict some dissension will begin in this match.
Winner: Rhodes Scholars.
