Being a part of an artistic community is an AMAZING thing. Not only do I get to meet individuals who create stunning pieces of arts and crafts, but I also get to share their work with my friends, and you, my faithful readers. So, for this blog I want to highlight artists, crafters, and creators who put their heart and soul into pieces for you! I hope that this blog encourages you to “share” their talent with others.
Weathered Heather
Heather creates beautiful hand made glass and wire wrapped jewelry as unique as she is! A sculptor by ‘training’, Heather’s unique eye for line and color make her pieces a treat for anyone on your list!

Blue Rose Red Eye
Luanne makes stunning pieces inspired by her Native American heritage. Her jewelry is bold, beautiful, and proud! The way she uses strong color gives the creations a sense of joy and energy, a wonderful gift for those who love anything just a little different!

Suzayn Crafts
Suzayn is proof that weddings don’t have to be super expensive in anything but love! Her crafts are simple and elegant, with a touch of fun! Why buy something informal from a retail store that everyone else has at their weddings when you can showcase these amazing pieces?

Little Toad
Michele is an extremely talented designer and illustrator and mastermind behind ‘Little Toad’. Not only does she create personalized invitations and cards, but she’s also recently illustrated a book “What’s Wrong with Gibson? Learning about K9 Epilepsy.”

Scoville Studio
Michelle makes amazing ceramics pieces that are also serviceable! I should know, I bought THREE! There is nothing better then sitting down to a big cup of tea from a cup that only you own! Scoville Studio proves that not only is art accessible to everyone, but that it doesn’t need to sit on a shelf and collect dust. Michelle also takes commissions!

A Wolf’s Tale
If you’re anything like me, you love things that are definitely off the beaten path–in a really good way! For me, that is Kim’s original human-animal hybrid prints. The imagery is combined with Victorian-esque patterns that make the prints both classic and beautifully strange. And to top it all off ALL of the proceeds go to pay for her dog’s total replacement hip surgery! You get amazing prints and to help her best furry friend all at the same time!

Sew H.A.W.T. Mamas
Candace-Marie creates reusable products for moms, babies and home! She make wraps for baby-wearing, reusable nursing pads with a leak-proof lining, car seat liners for potty training children, reusable swiffer pads (still trying to perfect these…) and pretty much if someone shows her a picture of something I can create it! Candace-Marie is a stay-at-home Mom of the lovely Miss Henley, and uses EVERYTHING she makes herself! It’s gotta be good enough for Henley before she would ever send it out to you!

Lyssadee
Lyssadee makes whimsical archival prints that are perfect for your home and cards that are nicer then most presents! (And hey, you frame them after and have instant art!) Her keen eye for design and subtle but smart color usage would complement many tastes and decoration themes!

And last but not least: Me
Most of you have seen my photography here, as well as some of my art work. Did you know though that I do portrait commissions in pencil and in oil? This piece is one of a beloved friend and her dog. I can do the same for you!

We’re not a big corporation seeking only profit (although a little kick back is good!), most of our joy comes from giving people something that brings them joy! All work is one of a kind and hand crafted! We make these pieces out of passion! Money that supports local, stays local!
