This is happening. All comments aside, this is happening. A gay wedding in one of comic’s largest franchises. Yes, it took until 2012 and yes its become a big media event. But still, it is happening and it is a momentous day.

This cover wouldn’t be as cool if the title font hadn’t been moved. Such a tiny touch, but it makes the image that much stronger.
Blue Beetle #10
Imposing and scary. Poor Jamie, caught in the clutches. Also, just because you’re a super villain doesn’t mean you cant have a snazzy patriotic tie.

That image will effect casual fans more so than a similar one featuring Gardner, Rayner or even Kilowog. Yeah, even Hal Jordan. Stewart is big enough that he is recognizable, yet small enough that they could totally fuck with him and drag the character through mud for years.
Red Hood and the Outlaws #10
I really have no hopes for this one. That first issue hurt so bad that the fully clothed Captain Starfire may not be enough to redeem it. But, it did get my attention as good covers are meant to, so its now here.
Wonder Woman #10
Speaking of getting your attention. Is Wonder Woman dead? Is that the river Styx? Am I about to buy it to figure out the meaning behind that cover? Damn straight.
