This is going to be a post about North Carolina Pastor Worley.

A very wise friend of mine told me that discussing him, either on a facebook status or in blog form is just giving him more exposure.  And she’s completely right.

And yet, I realized something tonight, after watching Anderson Cooper’s coverage of this issue and his interview with a congregant of the church and I came to a personal ephipany.

If what Pastor Whorley describes is Heaven, I simply don’t want to go there.  Ever. 

I always figured that whatever (if anything) there is for an after life, that I lead a pretty decent life by a majority of religious standards.  Combine that with the fact that I am friendly and persuasive, I always just thought that IF there was a pearly gate or what not I could turn on the charm, have whoever look at my pretty decent…
