Recently Richelle Mead had a great interview with the USA Today Books blog to talk about adapting Dark Swan into comic book format for Sea Lion Books. But that’s not all! With that interview you also get to read about other adaptations, Richelle’s love of 1980s music and more.

To pull something out and make a point, read this quote from the article:
Richelle: People who are fans of the Dark Swan novels will really love the graphic novel adaptation. Even if they’ve never picked up a comic before, they should check this out. The graphic novel adds a whole new dimension to the series that really brings the characters and worlds to life. I originally envisioned the story in my head, but seeing it on the page, in all that color, is amazing even for me!
I want to add, if you’re not familiar with her novels this is still an amazing series. While other members of Team Hellions have read and loved Richelle Mead’s works, I was not among them. However every issue of this series has been great to read, gorgeous to look at, and excitement on every page.
