Sorry everyone, its been a busy week at the paying job.  Plus we’re planning a wedding and I only wish such an ordeal on anyone once in their lives.  Make sure he/she is who you want to spend the rest of your life with!  You don’t want to go through all of that twice!

But if you’re reading this blog then chances are you want to read comics for the rest of your life.  And why not?  There are dozens if not hundreds of new issues out each and every week.  Even if that was all you read from now until your end, you wouldn’t run out of comics.

So lets run to the comic book store and get this comic party started!

The “ears for hats” match the wedding dress.  That is some phenomenal attention to detail.

 

BPRD HELL ON EARTH PICKENS COUNTY HORROR #2

Eh, that’s a creepy looking guy I guess and …. are those mushrooms?!  This is the kind of book in which that could be just a cover or there really could be a mushroom covered character in the book.

 

Daredevil #11

At this point I’ll just include all Daredevil covers.  Maybe even sight unseen.  Next month, around this time, you bet, Daredevil cover.

 

Jennifer Blood #12

I’m trying to not be too sexual or girl crazy in these posts, but damn this is a sexy cover.  And not a ridiculous broke back style.  Just straight up sexy.

Grimm’s Fairy Tales Alice In Wonderland #5

Off with their heads!  Its a grisly cover, but not grotesque.  The idea is very obvious but with a huge “how did they get to this point” question which demands buying the issue and finding out.

Ghostbusters #8

It was the end line that sold me on this cover “An Egon Spengler Mystery”.  Damn, I need a series just called that.

Hellraiser #13

I have no idea what’s happening, nor the significance of the cover but the colors and style are beautiful.  Very good for a Hellraiser book, great images – beautiful even, but with a sense of darkness.

King Conan Phoenix on the Sword #4

I’m surprised as you are that a Conan cover is in here this week but look at it!  Big green monster, holding Conan’s arm in its jaws while the barbarian struggles to reach his sword.  There is an entire novel just on the cover.

 

New Avengers #25

I don’t think Iron Fist has ever looked so bad ass.  You say otherwise?  Send me a picture and prove it!
