We are less than a year away from WrestleMania 29 and the rumors are already shaping up.  All signs point to one of these two possibilities being the main event.

The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar.

The Rock vs. John Cena.

In either case there is a good chance that the match will be for the WWE title.  Most likely with The Rock as the challenger and eventual winner of the match and the belt.

Brock’s current WWE contract is apparently only for one year.  He is already facing John Cena at the next PPV.  The only place to go from there is the WWE title, thus it is very likely that he will be the defending champion at ‘Mania.  If he doesn’t sign a contract extension it also makes sense for him to lose that title at WrestleMania on his way out.

However, John Cena vs. The Rock helped WWE get the largest PPV buys in the history of their PPVs.  Thus it makes loads of financial sense to have a rematch.  However, if it is for the title as rumored and the Rock wins that title, then Cena would be 0-2 against the Rock at WrestleMania.  Which is not good for Cena or his legacy.
