This week’s question was:

You are a big shot Hollywood movie producer with an unlimited budget. You need to assemble the ultimate ensemble cast for a movie that is sure to fill every movie theater seat around the world. Who do you hire and what kind of film are you going to make?

 

I debated for awhile on what to include in my list, and decided to go with an all women’s roster.  The Shimmer of movies if you will.  Brian’s article made me want to read more westerns.  I tried a Sacketts novel and it was pretty fun.  Reis went for the DND cartoon which was a nice twist.  Now I need to dig through the five dollar bin to see if the DVD set is still there.  Ashley one ups my list with his additions of Felicia Day and Karen Gillan.  The rest of the cast is far out as well.  Paxton’s idea was a great way to combine a theme and to work in some great actors under this idea.  I sense a good amount of research that went into that.  Iok’s idea is so out there that it fits right in with Community.  It would make a great alternate world or even a paintball episode of Community.  John sells my ticket with the “Good Ole Boys” racing team.  Damn that was clever.  I hate Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller.  I really really do and I try to avoid seeing any of their movies.  However, the idea of them playing Booster Gold and Blue Beetle is too damn perfect.

• John at the Revenge from the Cosmic Ark Wants to introduce Cannonball Run to this generation.
• Tom at Freak Studios wants a Booster Gold/Blue Beetle buddy flick.
