For those wondering why I did two reviews for Say Anything’s Anarchy, My Dear album, I’ll try to clear it up a bit. This album IS equal parts frustrating as it is equal parts genius. In terms of what anarchy is, this album is and isn’t the concept at the same time. In terms of what Say Anything were and what this album is, it’s a complete punk album, while at the same time, not breaking any music boundaries. It’s the bands most ambitious record and for those who will hate it and those who will love it, I wrote a reviews for both. It’s also a testament to Bemis’ lyrics here and his past mental condition; I also wanted to be a little more creative with the reviews and make them good enough outlets. They also represent how I feel about the album.
