Doug Furnas died in his sleep after battling Parkinson’s disease for many years.  This report is confirmed by the entire wrestling world.

I remember seeing Doug Furnas (and Phil LaFon/Dan Kroffat) come into ECW and my mind was blown.  Here was a team of amazing wrestlers that no one had heard of (at least in my wrestling group).  However we heard of their triumphs elsewhere. Doug Furnas inspired many of us young Hellions to start to tape trade.  If someone so amazing was hiding out overseas, who knew what other awesome wrestling was out there.
