Its that time once again to look at the new discs spinning their way to store shelves today. Without further ado.
The Epic Journey of Dwayne the Rock Johnson.
I’m not the biggest Rock fan in the world. Far from it. But any wrestling DVD, especially the WWE documentary style ones, is a must buy for the larger collection.
Underdog The Complete Series.
Its Underdog! Kind of like a dog version of Superman, but not. What it is though is another great release from Shout Factory! They have never released anything bad, and even if you’re not familiar with the cartoon itself you should buy it just because its from Shout!
Young Justice Season One, Volume 3.
A shockingly good cartoon. But then again I’ve yet to be actually disappointed in any of the WB super hero cartoons. Its a golden age of comic book related media and this series is deserving of being called golden.
Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century – The Complete Series.
Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego? – The Complete Series.
Archie’s Weird Mysteries – The Complete Series.
Heathcliff Season One, Volume One.
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors Volume One.
The 5 above titles are all similar releases of 80s or 90s cartoons from the same company. Heathcliff is the biggest of all the titles, but that doesn’t mean the other ones are slouches. Sherlock and Carmen were a lot more fun than they had any right to be. Jayce is so enjoyable you’ll wonder why it didn’t become a bigger hit.
Big Foot.
Just for this poster.
Return to Blood Fart Lake.
Apparently this is a sequel to Terror at Blood Fart Lake? What the fuck?!
