It looks very interesting on many levels.  There is of course the historical part.  Seeing the Washington Monument and the still being constructed White House is a great touch and if this was a historically accurate film I would love to see all that CGI could do to bring this time frame back to life.  A fiery train crash, the battlefields of Gettysburg and the cavalry riding down on horses were all exciting images to get me down for 20 bucks.

At first I felt bad to not mention any acting here.  But that isn’t the point of any of this is it?  As soon as you see Abe slicing through a tree with one swing of his slayer enhanced ax hand that should be the last concern any movie goer should have over the quality of acting to be in this film.  Seeing the hype for “this summer” and “in real 3D” is all that is should take to confirm this is flash over substance.  Fun flash though.
