OK, its honestly not a big spoiler if you’ve been reading the comic. Since the beginning. More accurately, at the beginning. According to FlavorWire and Vulture, former Walking Dead show runner Frank Darabont is about to have a new show on TNT called LA Noir. Its about he LAPD and mobsters and the 1940s and could be a pretty good show. Such a show needs a lead, and the rumor is that Frank wants Walking Dead actor Jon Bernthal (or you may know him as Shane).
Back to the comics. Shane dies in, what, issue 6? I’m pretty sure it took place in the first graphic novel. Shane’s death is a huge scene for Rick, Carl, Lori and the relationships between all of them. It showed that anything can happen in this comic book. It also showed that things don’t just happen only to never be mentioned again. This act keeps affecting the comic 90 issues later. It HAS to happen in the show. We were all shocked it didn’t happen at the end of the first season, but with Shane’s current arc its bound to happen now.
Of course, its possible all of this is rumor or that Jon will be working on two shows. Both of which are possible in the world of the Walking Dead.
