The best Christmas cover in years!  Spoiler alert, this is also the best straight up super hero title today.  That snow angel is about to lift your spirits to when you were young and comics were nothing but awesome.

Excuse me.  I need to go get in a car, head to my Mom’s house, and dig out all my old GI Joes.  Oh, then I should make a turn and head to my local comics shop to buy this cover.  Its so damn pretty.

Intrepid Escapegoat #3

I don’t know what this comic is about.  But that cover shows a hero about to face unbeatable odds but charging ahead anyways.  That is a hero and that is a comic I need to buy.

Savage Dragon #177

Its so wrong and so great at the same time.  Images of World War II comics, giant monster comics, Kirby comics, its a love letter that no one else but Erik Larsen could provide.

Venom #11

I haven’t read the book yet but I might just for this cover.  I know people want Venom to be Eddie Brock and leave it at that.  But I like the idea of seeing the symbiote move on to different people and destroy their lives.
