Very few DVDs coming out today.  Might have something to do with how close it is to Christmas.  But that doesn’t mean you wont find nothing on your weekly DVD trip.  Have a look!

Futurama Volume 6

The Comedy Central return season.  I was late on the Futurama bandwagon and because of that I’m not sick or tired of the show.  Its just as good as it was in its days on FOX.  If anything I think they’re getting away with more now.  Well worth watching one episode and then wondering where the day went before realizing you watched every episode.

Columbiana

I don’t know what to think about this movie.  Is it any good or does it just have a great marketing team?  I’ll include it on today’s list for the curiosity.  If you have seen it and you read this column let me know what you thought.

Its fighting time!  WWE Survivor Series 2011 and UFC 136 both come out today.  Survivor Series saw the in ring return of the Rock, and that’s supposed to make everyone want to spend the cash to see this.  I fell out of UFC watching this year, so I cant tell you anything about this event.  But I’m sure there’s at least some good fights on it.

Burke and Hare

Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis in a new movie about two 19th century grave robbers.  Its a hell of an idea and I don’t know how I never heard of it before today.  Hmmm…. might be a good last minute Christmas present.
