Its actually a very quiet week for really cool covers.  Don’t fret true believer, I’ll still be buying some titles today and reviewing them.  However, there were very few books this week that jumped off the shelf from cover merit alone.

Speaking of merit, if there is any comic book store that merits your money, its Zeus Comics.  Great deals on comics, graphic novels, statues, toys and more.  If you’re looking for something for yourself or something for the geek on your list, Zeus Comics is there.

Is that an ear?  On the bat!  Is that an ear?!  I think its a fucking ear.  Full disclosure, I’ve yet to read Chew even though EVERYONE tells me I’m stupid for not reading.  I’ll get to it eventually, promise.  Don’t talk my ear off over it.

Now where did I put those pins?  Its a talent to pull off Pinhead looking scary powerful and weak at the same time.  Some equidistant pin holes through the body will do that.

Jurassic Strike Force 5 #0

Its like Rob Liefeld and Extreme Studios got wind of Robert Kirkman’s Super Dinosaur.  Plot could be awful, but how can you not want a dinosaur wielding a light sword?! as a poster.

Moon Knight #8

Just a really cool cover.  Excellent blues and whites with just a hint of blacks.  Really stunning image for the B list Avenger.
