While looking through my DVD collection I was stunned by how many titles were from Shout Factory!  Look through your collection, or your to be gifted geek’s and you’ll find the same thing.  But what to buy this year?  Read on and find out.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 collections.

My favorite is the VS Gamera collection which includes 4 films, a collectible tin case, great extra features and hours of hilarious entertainment.  There is no better dollar value than MST3K.  Even episodes that you think you’ve seen 100 times and have heard/seen everything — you’re wrong.  I always discover something, usually the joke following a joke I was laughing too hard to hear.  Also recommended in this series is the Manos Hands of Fate two disc set, or the three box sets including mini robot figures!

 

Kevin Smith collections.

Whether you pick the Too Fat for Forty stand up special (arguably the best out of the four) or the SModcast animated specials named of course SModimations is up to you.  I would highly suggest getting both so then you get the bonus DVD of a live Hollywood Babble On!

If you love cartoons there is no end to the awesome titles you can order on the site.  Classic cartoons to new series abound.  Jem, He-Man, Tintin, Super Hero Squad, its all here.  One of the most shocking and now most coveted surprises is the first appearance in the United States of the Japanese Transformers seasons.  Headmasters on DVD in the USA!
