11. Fleet Foxes – Fleet Foxes (2008)

When I think of the Fleet Foxes, I think of a band that took old ideas and made them sound new again; Harmonies, folk rock and classic elements. If the Beach Boys aren’t an influence here than you have to be shitting me, because the harmonies are Beach Boy esque in nature. Their song titles reference the Blue Ridge Mountains and if I were to visit them, I would most definitely listen to this album while I walk amongst the trees. This is a very beautiful album and one that deserves all the acclaim it has received.
