My Top 50 Albums of the Decade!: Part 26 of 50

The Saga…you know I really like short stories…I think they’re my favorite kind of stories to read.

25. Randall Bramblett – No More Mr. Lucky (2001)

The first time I had ever heard of Randall was through a Widespread Panic documentary called The Earth Will Swallow You. From that I checked out what he had to offer and boy does his offering sound excellent. This is the only album I’ve ever heard from Bramblett, but boy did it leave an impact. Bramblett got his name out there in the 70’s touring with the band Traffic and since then has worked with many bands. His roots are in jazz and you can tell that in the songs as well as the fact that he’s a sax player among other things. Fantastic album and worth every penny.

Recommended Tracks: “God Was in the Water,” “Get In, Get Out,” “Lost Enough,” “Sunflower,” “Hard to Be a Human,” “Disappearing Ink”
