26. Remy Zero – The Golden Hum (2001)
Smallville gave Remy Zero a lot of exposure, picking their song “Save Me” for the theme of the show, but little did people know that Remy Zero had been around since the early 90’s. Sad to say that they’re not around anymore, but they left some fantastic albums in their wake. I remember reading somewhere that these guys reminded a reviewer of a U2 haunting of sorts, and that they’re not the real thing. The one thing about U2 is that while their good, they are overrated heavily, therefore, I’ll take the underdog anyday! And actually, they did get back together to play a few shows in honor of their deceased drummer, Gregory Slay, and even released a new single…hmmm perhaps things are moving in a different direction.
