The Saga…will keep you company on a rainy day
33. The Dear Hunter – Act I: The Lake South, the River North (2006)
This album opens up with a beautifully crafted acapella song called “Battesimo del Fuoco” and that is what initially got me hooked on this album. This band is the love child of Casey Crescenzo, formerly of Receiving End of Sirens. This is the beginning of a tightly crafted rock opera about the birth, life, and death of a boy known only as The Dear Hunter. What startles you at first is the harmony in the vocals is fabulous and the mixture of instrumentation is like nothing you’ve ever heard…check this out!!!
Recommended Tracks: The Whole Thing; it is technically only an EP after all
