Its that time once again to look at the best new comic book covers for the week.  Some of them did exactly what they need to do, made me curious about the contents inside!  Others are just freaking cool on their own.

Know what else is freaking cool?  The good folks at Zeus Comics.  Whether you’re looking for the latest new comic books, back issues, figures, toys, statues, supplies or a great chicken salad sandwich, they got it all.  Well, maybe not the sandwich.  Either way I suggest you head over to http://www.zeuscomics.com/  for much more information.

Today’s first cover is one that I had the pleasure to preview review a couple of weeks ago:

Richelle Mead Dark Swan #3

If you’ve read the previous two issues, there is loads of information in this cover.  A stunning title from Sea Lion Books.  Find out more (spoilers too) over HERE.

I picked the next three covers just for the curiosity factor.  Elektra in PunisherMAX?  Isn’t that a non super hero non continuity book?  Maybe not anymore.

Punisher MAX #18

The Amazing Spider-Man #671

The idea of MJ having spider based powers greatly interests me.  It would interest me even more if the marriage hadn’t been wished away.

All New Batman Brave and the Bold #12

Not only is that Zatanna, but that’s also the House of Mystery.  In a “kids” book.  I need this now.  Someone send me a copy!

Northlanders #45

This is how you do grizzled, weathered, faith, character, emotion and a hundred other descriptive words.

Batwoman #2

She’s not being eaten alive, she’s being retconned and rebuilt.

We’re going to finish off with tribute/homage covers!  Ghostbusters #2 and Veronica #209 (Kevin Keller #3)
