I wanted to wait until closer to tonight’s airing of Smackdown because this article will contain spoilers. So if you don’t want SD! ruined for you, come back tonight to read this article.
This past Monday on Raw the WWE Superstars and Divas took a vote of no confidence in Triple H as COO of the company. Damn near everyone thought this was a stupid ass idea. But why? What is it about this angle that is upsetting fans so much? Read on and take a look at the three stupidest things in this angle.
3. “Unsafe working environment”
I know its an old joke in the world of “sports entertainment” but the sign on the marquee says wrestling! You are professional wrestlers. By definition your job is unsafe. This is coming right off of Hell in a Cell too! Hey, Hunter, I’m willing to bleed, fall off of a cage, wrestle 5 times in a week and drive thousands of miles. But having two of my (“former”) co workers come in the ring to attack me? Well that is where I draw a line!
2. Smackdown is still a WWE show, and Triple H is COO of WWE.
On tonight’s Smackdown MANY of the Superstars say that they will only wrestle on Smackdown from now on. Because they have no faith in Triple H and the unsafe working environment of WWE, blah blah. Gentlemen, Smackdown is still a WWE show! Triple H is the COO of the ENTIRE WWE! Not just on Raw, but also on Smackdown, Superstars, NXT, Classic on Demand, PPV, home video, streaming media, WWE.com, ice cream bars, magazines, books, action figures and Slurpees! You cant go to Smackdown and be away from Triple H’s power or influence. He controls that show too. Its not under a new banner. Captain America could leave the Avengers and join the X-Men but guess what, its still Marvel comics.
1. We all know its Johnny Ace!
From the initial texts to the run ins to the cage to everything. Its so overly obvious to all that Johnny Ace is the man behind the scenes manipulating things to get into a more powerful position. Sure, maybe he’s doing it on behalf of someone like Stephanie or Vince. Either way, he’s doing it. Does Triple H ever watch Raw after it airs? Its obvious even to your moron mark fans! It should be obvious to a multi-millionaire too!
Sorry, but its becoming an annoying angle and I had to get that off my chest.

I want to shoot someone for this angle. I’d love to see a fan just jump into the ring now and see what kind of heat it gets.
No its not Johnny Ace, that is too obvious, its Vince McMahon or Stephanie… or Shane even though he’s working for another company… just like Nash was fired.
