Training Broads.

On last week’s episode of Impact Wrestling, Tara and Miss Tessmacher won the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles.  While Tara, AKA Victoria, AKA Lisa Marie,  TAFKA Prince, deserves to win many titles in many promotions, her partner is a bit more suspect.  Remember that the wrestler currently known as Miss Tessmacher was previously known as Brooke.  Who the hell is Brooke?  The quickly seen and quickly forgotten member of WWE ECW’s Extreme Expose along with Layla and Kelly Kelly.  Now one of her former dance partners is the WWE Divas champion at the same time that Tess is holding gold in a rival promotion.  Its almost like a compare and contrast is ahead!

Its safe to say that neither woman had any wrestling experience before their time in WWE.  Kelly may have appeared on TV a little before Brooke, but in the grand scheme of the universe, I think its safe to say they started wrestling training  around the same time.  Kelly has been on WWE TV ever since while Brooke was fired, disappeared from public eye, showed up in TNA as a secretary, disappeared again, and then was suddenly a wrestler.  Therefore she has been training and wrestling years less than Kelly.  Remember, according to a recent interview with CM Punk, Kelly Kelly had the most seniority on the babyface bus.  With all of her exposure, WWE training, marketing, and current position in the front of womens wrestling as the Divas champion there is one fact missing here..

Miss Tessmacher is better than Kelly Kelly in every way.

Now this isn’t a blondes vs. brunettes kind of thing becasue I couldn’t care less about such a thing.  When Kelly is wearing tiny outfits its tough to match or exceed her yet when Miss T comes out and removes her ring entrance outfit she already creates a sexier atmosphere than Kelly can by smiling and waving to the crowd.  The audience is already paying attention to her, time to give them something to watch.  Which is where the point of this article lies.

Tess is already a better wrestler than Kelly Kelly has any hope of being.  It is possible to take a model and make a fine wrestler out of her.  Trish Stratus being the best example by far.  Kelly and Brooke both come from the modeling world.  Yet Kelly has yet to have a single match that mattered a damn.  Maybe this is due to her training, although every WWE Diva over the last few years has had the same training opportunities.  WWE Divas like the classic mat wrestlers Brie and Nikki Bella, or Maryse, Michelle McCool and the rest.  There are three good women wrestlers in WWE right now: Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Gail Kim (depending on the day I’ll throw Melina in there as well).  Coincidently, all three women have done nothing in WWE for months if not years.  They are also kept far far away from Kelly.  Have you seen the William (then Steven) Regal vs. Goldberg WCW Nitro match recently?  That’s what a Kelly Kelly match against any of those ladies would be like.

Meanwhile, Miss Tessmacher has nothing but talent to learn from and wrestle against.  The aforementioned Tara, Mickie James, Angelina Love, Winter, the list goes on and on.  Even the “unofficial” Knockouts like ODB and Jackie are well respected wrestlers.  Not Divas.  Maybe if Kelly had an equally competant level of competition she would also rise to greatness.  Instead she has wrestled against casting call winners and escorts.

I know TNA gets a lot of things wrong.  However, creating talented women wrestlers is not one of them
