The Saga…has invaded your cortex

43. Forgive Durden – Razia’s Shadow (2008)

Would you believe it if I told you that a relatively unknown band, worked with numerous members of different bands and wrote a musical? Hard to swallow, but this album is surprisingly good. Thomas Dutton, the man who conceived the project, was quoted as saying: “The album tells the story of a world divided in two by the selfish actions of a powerful and egotistical, yet insecure angel. After generations of darkness, the world is eventually brought back together by the love and sacrifice of a couple brave enough to fulfill their destinies.” It’s not as good as Pink Floyd, but it’s still worth your time.
