The Saga…Keeps Going…
46. Dawes – North Hills (2009)
If you’ve ever wanted to know what The Band would sound like in this generation, you want to pick this album up. This album has a very southern influence to it while sounding strangely not southern at all if you can follow me. The last song of the album, “Peace in the Valley,” has boasted being able to bring Dia Frampton of Meg & Dian and The Voice fame to tears. It’s definitely worth a listen.
Recommended Tracks: “That Western Skyline,” “When You Call My Name,” “God Rest My Soul,” “Bedside Manner,” “Peace in the Valley”
