Looking at the best and greatest new comic book covers of the week.  Yes, there are a ton of DC #1’s this week and of course the new Ultimate Spider-Man released today.  However, I’ve now seen these covers 100 times and most of them have lost some of their punch.  However, that doesn’t mean the content is bad.  Go out and buy some today!

Black Panther Man Without Fear #523

Yes, its this strange Black Panther title that spun off from Daredevil.  Also, Panther is in this US inspired outfit.  But its still Black Panther and that is the often forgotten but never less dangerous Hate Monger staring him down from the background.  This issue is going to have a slobberknocker.

Daredevil #3

Usually a Klaw splits you!  But to be serious, I believe that Klaw is a being a pure sound so the story of how Daredevil got to this state intrigues me.

Deadpool #43

This Valentine’s Day, when you want to say “I love you”, say it with a mercenary killer mutant.

Herc #7

I never thought I’d see the strong man from Greece looking spider-ific.  Zounds abounds!

Journey into Mystery #627

This looks like a calm unexciting cover.  But I’m going to cheat a little here.  Check out this ad copy:

The story isn’t true, but occasionally it amuses Mephisto to play along. And when he’s spent the day spying on all the earthly gods and what exactly they’re going to do about FEAR ITSELF, you’ll want to hear what he has to say.

I want this now!  That sounds like an amazing story.  Hell, that can be an entire series.

 

Batwoman #1

I didn’t say I wouldn’t include any DC titles today.  As long as Batwoman continues to be one of the most beautiful looking comics of all time, I’m going to feature the covers.

Grifter #1

Something about taking the cliche of a person falling out of a high window, guns blazing, and adding ghostly images to it pushed this cover over to the best of the week list.

 

Suicide Squad #1

I’m throwing this out there now.  Harley Quinn may eclipse Wonder Woman to become DC’s most famous mainstream female character.  Covers like this only help my argument.

What the hell is that and how is a human walking on it like its the sidewalk?  Is anyone reading this also reading Sweet Tooth?  Would you like to recommend it to me?
