On to the comics!
Batman 713
Bruce and his children take a family portrait before it all disappears next month.
Captain America 2
Daredevil #2
Ultimate Fallout #6
Its Captain America and shield week! No, not and S.H.I.E.L.D. but the trademark slinging frisbee of our star spangled hero. These covers should have been done as cross promotion immediately when the movie debuted. That said, these are instant iconic images. Yeah, how many times can you do alliteration with I’s!
Flashpoint The Outsider #3
I’m very behind on Flashpoint and not really sure what the hell is going on. But this is a great cover to make you curious enough to pick up the book if you’re not already. Dig that crazy broken up statue.
Ka-Zar #3
Ka-Zar’s wife (Shanna?) has one of the best do not fuck with me looks I’ve ever seen. We all know not to get between a mother and her baby, now its time for the dinosaurs to learn. Maybe that’s why they’re no longer around.
Marvel Universe vs Wolverine #3
I’m in pain just looking at this cover. Look at the hair, the debris, the arc of his fist. All of the blank space somehow adds to it as well. Phenomenal cover.
Power Girl #27
Zatanna #16
If your universe as you know it is about to end, may as well go out with some style and beatuy. Breathtaking covers.
Venom #6
I’m really not sure if I like this cover or not. But I cant stop looking at it so I guess that makes it good enough to include here.
Superman/Batman #87
While I’m mostly sure that this scene does not actually appear in the comic, I don’t care. Just the idea of Super Powers action figure Joker about to clobber Clark Kent at his desk is more than enough to make me want to tear between the covers and read what other crazy ideas are about to unfold.
Walking Dead #88
Oh. So that’s how you show horror, movement, fear anger and drive in a mostly black and white picture. Great flow of movement as well.
