I avoided this because it seemed so painfully emo – like maybe it was Superman for the twilight crowd. Maybe it’s just the awful cover, as you said. I loved Straczynski on Silver Surfer: Requiem but not so much on Wonder Woman. I have heard that there are plans for a Batman Earth One sometime this year too so maybe it’s time for me to swallow my pride and buy this 🙂

I love Harlan Ellison myself…he wrote my favorite short story. Have you ever read Neil Gaiman’s “Marvel 1602”?
Haven’t read 1602 yet. Although I’ve owned it for years. Harlan is great. I’ll be rewatching Dreams with Sharp Teeth soon on Netflix streaming.
