Unfortunately this has to be a quick column today.  I have a couple minutes to post this, and I usually spend an hour on it.  Quick favorites this week.

Beauty and the Beast.  Disney’s only Academy Award nominee for Best Picture, the only animated film to ever do so.  Now in glorious HD.

Bones The Complete Fifth Season.  A show much better than expected, and instantly addicting.

Grindhouse (Special Edition).  Finally in their original theatrical release.  One of the best movie experiences of my life.

Splice.  Looked good, but I missed it in theaters.  Worthy October horror release.

30 Days of Night: Dark Days.  The comic is excellent.  The original movie wasn’t bad.  This sequel is worth a watch.

Ugly Americans Season 1.  Shocked this isn’t on Adult Swim.  Takes a couple episodes to get into it.

The Ultimate Fighter Season 11: Liddell vs. Ortiz. The season that made my fiance a UFC fan.  And it only took her one episode to learn Tito is a dick.
