This is, without a doubt, the worst comic I have ever read.  Certainly the worst this year, maybe the worst in my life.  Why so bad?

The WWE Superstars, sorry – Heroes, will apparently be placed in the centuries old battle between the King of Shadows and the Firstborn.  They may or may not be brothers.  The King of Shadows kills lots of people, apparently started every war in human history, and looks a lot like Rob Liefeld drawing Jonah Hex.  The Firstborn exists to kill the King of Shadows, and then die as well I guess.

So help me if one more comic’s plot involves the “ages old war between two groups”.  This is late 90s crap.  Old Image, Chaos comics, bad girl books crap.

Oh!  The King of Shadows burns his face in lava.  So while the writers and artists have never seen WWE they’ve at least watched Revenge of the Sith.

I am sure the creative team has never seen WWE.  Everyone looks alike.  Everyone.  Batista, Matt Hardy and Kofi Kingston all have the same body.  At least the colorist made Kofi a little darker but that’s it.  Wrestlers still wear ballcaps, sunglasses and the like while wrestling.  Faces don’t look like the wrestlers they’re supposed to be representing.  Costume and tights details are nil.  And why the hell is Rowdy Roddy Piper in the Royal Rumble?!
