It’s tough to get rid of things.

Really it is.  I’m trying to clean up my life, remove things, organize the house, and give my old things a nice new home.  But in this economy there’s not a lot of extra money floating around for people.  I put up Craigslist ad’s for a ton of books and records that I want to go en masse.  However, people want to nit pik.  Do you have any of this?  What about this?  No!  Just come and get it and throw me a couple bills.  Give it a good home.  I’m not trying to make a fortune here but I don’t want to just give the stuff away either.  What would I do?  Leave it in a 6 foot high snow bank in town?  I’ve faced problems buying things but I never thought I would have a problem with giving them away.

Weird world.

And yes, if you want them just say so.  I’ll take down the ad.

With comment from Michele:  “If you aren’t trying to sell them then why not give them to the salvation army? Or some place like that after all how excited are you and mangler when you find great buys that people let go it might find a good home or it might end up as just more reading material in someones bathroom >.<“
